Let us use an anthropological approach to look at how the Republican brand has and will remain to provide advantages to the Republicans. This will help us recognize the actual reasons and the human mindset that backs up the success of the party.
The advantages of being a Republican come from what the brand represents. Their brand has always been linked to success, security, wealth, clear decision-making and the most important factor is the sense of arrival. The Democratic Party has always been associated to being apologetic, having an indecisive character and having a sense of journey. Culturally speaking, being a Republican is much more parallel to being an American. The Republican brand matches the American identity of already being there or of believing that one has already arrived rather than being in a journey which has to include everyone else.
Thus, being part of the Republican Party means that you are already part of a brand that is strong and above the rest. The brand is clearly the better one as it provides a clear direction and a set of concise rules to follows. This is also evident in how both parties conduct business.
Republicans do not have the need to explain their political affiliations. They already see themselves as successful individuals who do not have to waste time and energy in having to explain why they believe in what they believe and most importantly, who they really are. These are the signs and advantages of being a Republican. They are hard-core patriots and take pride in being Americans. Democrats, on the other hand, have to constantly explain and rationalize most decisions and minor mistakes. Their party is made up of individuals who suffer from self-depreciation.
Being part of the Republican Party means that you are constantly upholding the stronger virtues and values of what makes the US a great nation. The brand is being managed effectively if the members are on the same clear path.
This is not to say that the Democratic Party will have to be abolished. On the contrary, competition breeds check and balance within any government system. The Democrats can also avail of the advantages of being a republican if they take a closer look at their mistakes and admit to them. They can benefit from remembering what makes them real Americans.

Post a CommentI agree with you buddy, that's why they have to rethink hard and focus on the true ideals of what the "Brand" really stands for. :)
The brand will not last if reality continues to contradict the "brands" self-declared ideals.
