There is no need to doubt that the Bible is the word of God. "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works (2 Timothy 3:16-17)." According to the book of Acts, Christians are given the word so that they can read it and learn from it "These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so (Acts 17:11)."

The Bible tells us to believe in God and to follow his commandments. The Devil doesn't want us to worship God or follow his commandments, so clearly he did not write the Bible. In the book of John, Jesus tells the devil that he is not of God. "He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God (John 8:47)." Since the Bible teaches us about God, the Bible is clearly not the word of the devil. Since the devil doesn't hear the words of God, he is surely unable to trick us with them or use them to confuse us.
While the Bible may be somewhat open to interpretation, the Bible is not intended to trick us or confuse us. The Bible gives us the Ten Commandments to follow, tells us to believe that Jesus is our lord and savior, and tells us to spread the gospel given to us in the Bible. The Bible is clear-cut and concise in its instruction, so it was not given to us by the devil. God is more powerful than the devil, and God would never allow the devil to give us a "holy" book to trick us or confuse us. The Bible is used in churches everywhere, and God would never allow the words of the devil in his house.
The Bible teaches us how to get into heaven and be with God for eternity. The Bible is a book of comfort and hope, and the devil doesn't want us to be filled with comfort or hope. Surely the devil does not want us to be with God or get into heaven. The devil wants us to be with him forever in hell, and the Bible teaches us to turn to God to help us resist the temptation of the devil

Post a CommentGod creates good and bad. We're taught to believe in what a prophet says, if it comes from God, it comes true. God is the God of righteousness and his word will not return to him nill or void. www.associatedcontent.com/article/1930160/words_of_god.html
