Season 11 of "Dancing With The Stars" has been full of great stars, amazing dances and surprising results. This season has been full of incredible surprises, including drama, new elements and shocks from the stars themselves. If you've missed any episodes of Season 11, check out the biggest surprises of the season to see what you've missed.

The Situation

Let's face it, no one really expected the Situation, Mike Sorrentino, from "Jersey Shore" to be any real type of competition. After only have a few days to prepare, he came out and gave a surprisingly good performance, though it was far from the best. During the course of his time on "Dancing With The Stars," we were introduced to a brand new Situation. In fact, we learned he is actually very respectful, eager to learn, intelligent and nothing like his "Jersey Shore" character. Through week four, he continued to improve and remained friendly to the other contestants and the judges throughout the show.

Florence Henderson

Every season, "Dancing With The Stars" has a few older stars. Season 11 was no exception. This year, Florence Henderson graced the stage with partner Corky Ballas. Instead of being a dud, Henderson proved to be a formidable competitor. Though she may not have been as flexible as some of the younger stars, she came out each week and gave her all and her all was amazing. Henderson showed a quirky personality, proved she was still a sexy mama and waltzed her way into America's hearts once again lasting through week five of the competition.

The Instant Dance

Each season "Dancing With The Stars" introduces a new challenge for both the stars and the dancers. This time, the instant dance was thrown at the remaining five couples. Though the couples new the type of dance they would be required to do, they didn't receive their music until twenty minutes before they were scheduled to perform. After their first dance, each couple drew out their song and had only twenty minutes to make final adjustments. The results were surprising as most couples did well, some receiving their highest scores of the season like Kyle and Lacey.

Michael Bolton

Singer Michael Bolton may have not been the best dancer the show had ever seen, but he created quite a bit of tension between judges Bruno and Len. After a particularly rough night for Bolton, Bruno critiqued the dance as the worst he had ever seen on the show and gave Bolton a 4. He berated Bolton's dance harsher than he'd ever criticized any other dancer during the course of "Dancing With The Stars." Len, the usual hardball, stood up for Bolton. The two judges got into an argument on both the performance and results shows that week with Len telling Bruno his treatment of Bolton was uncalled for and that no matter how bad a dance is you should always find something positive about it. Ironically, Bolton was asked to fill in for Susan Boyle the very next week as the results show performer.

Maksim and Carrie Ann

After season upon season of receiving often undeserved low scores and criticism from judge Carrie Ann, dancer Maksim finally confronted her on week eight's performance show. Maksim and his partner Brandy performed two dances, with the second being one of the instant dances. Carrie Ann told Brandy that though the dance was good, she expected more musicality from Brandy due to her music background and that the dance should have started earlier in the song. Maksim immediately took up for Brandy, telling Carrie Ann that he was the choreographer and Brandy was doing what he asked of her. The two argued, talking over each other with Maksim saying she's always had something against some of the dancers and punishing their partners. Maksim apologized for his outburst and Carrie Ann stated she respected all the dancers, but tension still remains.

Bristol Palin

Though it's not Bristol Palin's fault, every week, viewers are shocked to find out Palin remains in the competition. The teen mother and teen pregnancy prevention advocate may be a great speaker, but lacks the passion of a dancer and performer. Though she has improved over the weeks, she still remains near or at the bottom of the leader board. However, stars who have proved themselves week after week to be great dancers are sent home instead. Even the judges appear surprised and the audience boos each week an undeserving star is eliminated. Will Bristol Palin be the one to win the coveted Mirror Ball trophy or will she finally be voted off in the face of the remaining competitors?

As you can tell, Season 11 of "Dancing With The Stars" has been chocked full of surprises. Don't miss out on any remaining surprises as "Dancing With The Stars" wraps up. With only a few episodes left, don't miss the remaining dances and the finale when the winner is revealed. Catch "Dancing With The Stars" on ABC on Mondays at 8 pm ET and Tuesdays at 9 pm ET.
