The teams traveled to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank for their second challenge. Laura chose to sit out for the black team since they had one extra member. The teams had to prepare 150 food kits and then load them on a truck for delivery. The first team to load the truck would win the challenge. The winning team will receive free groceries for a year, letters from home, and they will be featured in a Cheerios campaign. It was a close one, but once again the black team was triumphant. In a touching gesture, Mike feeling bad for Aubrey who has five kids gave her his grocery prize.
As part of their weekly workout, Bob took his team to learn how to shadow box with Sugar Ray Leonard. Sione injured his ankle working out with Jillian. And, Jillian flipped out on Laura after she started crying and said she needed to stop. Jillian said she was going to do the meanest thing she has ever done in five years on the show and asked each member of the team who was the weakest link on the team. They all unanimously said Laura. Laura walked out crying and didn't come back.
At the weigh in, Allison announced another twist in the game and said, "Tonight you are not weighing in against each other, you are weighing in with each other." If the total weight loss for the 11 remaining members was more than 77 lbs., that's one pound per person per day, everyone would receive immunity and no one would be going home. However, if the total weight loss was 77 lbs. or less, then one member of each team would be voted off. The biggest losers of the night were four of the women, Tara with 11 lbs., Kristen with 9 lbs., Aubrey with 8 lbs. and Mandy with 8 lbs. Sione and Cathy lost the least amount of weight at 3 lbs. each. With only Mike left to weigh in, the total weight loss was 68 lbs. meaning Mike had to lose more than 10 lbs. to win immunity for both teams or two people would be going home. Mike stepped on the scale.
