"The Biggest Loser" Season 10 Finale

Mark Loses the Greatest Percentage of Weight, but Patrick Takes Home the Most Cash

Seven months ago, 21 people embarked on a weight-loss journey on NBC's "The Biggest Loser." Under the direction of trainers Jillian Michaels and Bob Harper, these individuals collectively lost over 1,000 pounds. Season 10 came to an end on December 14th as contestants weighed in one last time on live television. Moderator Alison Sweeney was the master of ceremonies. Two groups hit the stage in dramatic unveilings: those who were eliminated and sent home-they competed for a prize of $100,000; and the final three contestants, who competed for the grand prize of $250,000. Mark and Patrick left with the money, but the contestants all gained a new lease on life.

On the last television episode, Patrick and Frado had shed enough pounds to be deemed finalists, but Ada and Elizabeth fell below the yellow line, meaning they had the least percentage of weight loss. It was up to America to decide which of the ladies would make up the final 3. It came as no surprise when America overwhelmingly chose Ada, dubbed as "Ada the Terminator" due to her determined spirit.

Peppered throughout the show were previews of what is to come in season 11 of the "Biggest Loser" which debuts on January 4th. Two new trainers are joining the crew-a Golden Globe champion and a Martial Arts expert-but their identities remain a mystery for now. Contestants will choose between staying on the "Biggest Loser" ranch with Bob and Jillian and being swept away to a secret location with the mystery trainers.

"Biggest Loser" contestants were vying for the greatest percentage of weight loss. The transformations were jaw-dropping. Emotions ran high and well-deserved pride was evident.
