The Bizarre Circle Poem

Steven West
I walk around in circles.

All day long I dither here and there.

I end up going nowhere.

I decide to expand my circle.

This bold decision makes my heart flutter.

Oh where for art thou mother?

Now my circle is gigantic.

I feel so romantic.

And yet, I do regret.

I am truly upset.

No one has entered my circle but me.

I feel as naked as a tree.

What can I do?

How do I enlist the who?

Perhaps, I shall close the circle,

And seek Winnie the Pooh.

His wisdom is great.

I shall put honey on his plate.

Maybe then, I shall have a friend

Who will join me in my circle.

But now I must go to sleep.

I am tired and much to my surprise

I have circles underneath my eyes.
