The Bone and Marrow Dwell Peacefully

E. L. D.
Tis said your mind repines in boxes
Whilst her mind is filled with synergy
Watch, beleaguered as crafty foxes
She learns to lead speechlessly

Overlooking undertaken, heart deferred
Happy faces: show her kindness
While she gives without a word
Can you truly be so mindless?

Motives stirred, shepherds waken
Picking up the shattered gauntlet
Men the mountain gladly taken
As she rebuilds her parapet

Together they live in harmony
Fulfilling their days in symmetry

p.s. "speechlessly"... when will I ever get this? The tongue is small but strong; no wonder a perfect person is one who can control it. argh. It is nonetheless, good to be in the process.

Thank you for your kind comments :) This was my first attempt at a sonnet, I realized I missed a key element -each line consisting of ten syllables. Oh well, it was fun and a learning experience for me.
