The Boot Girls' Boot Campaign: The Journey Behind the Successful Start of the "GET YOUR BOOTS ON" Campaign Designed to Give Back to the Military
Many celebrities from the world of Sports and Entertainment have gracefully endorsed the combat boots while appearing in pictorial advertisements wearing the combat boots. Celebrities such as Glenn Beck, Emily West, and Charlie Daniels have proudly supported The Boot Girls' campaign while wearing the signature combat boots for the pictorial campaign. Longtime radio veteran and personality Rick Dees has been the forefront behind the successful promotion of the Boot Girls (Ginger,Mariae,Sherri,Mariae,Leigh Ann) and their "Boot Campaign". In his "Rick Dees and the Weekly Top 40" broadcast played across the world, radio personality Rick Dees allowed Boot Girl members Ginger and Mariae to discuss the formation of the Boot Campaign to a different audience. "I have a very, very deep, warm feeling for women and men who will go out and put their lives on the line for us," mentioned Rick Dees in an exclusive broadcast on his weekly show "The least I could do was to use the world-wide reach of our radio shows to spread the message of the Boot Girls!" With Rick Dees' show airing on the Armed Forces Network, troops overseas are able to learn more about the "Boot Campaign" and learn about ways in which America is contributing to the military. Through successful celebrity endorsements and promotions across the globe, the Boot Girls have been able to increase productivity and sales while increasing awareness and raising funds to support the military.
Through the increasing sales of the specialized combat boots, the Boot Girls have remained blessed with the amazing accomplishments the campaign has achieved in such a short period of time. "Since July 23rd, we have sold over 4,000 pairs of Boot Campaign signature combat boots," Boot Girl Mariae proudly exclaimed in an exclusive interview," Although, we are very proud of our accomplishments in this short amount of time, there's still a lot of work left to do!" The Boot Girls have raised more than $125,000 in funds which will be sent to charitable military organizations around the Country, including the Boot Girls' most preferred charity The Lone Survivor Foundation. This widely-supported charity helped the formation of the Boot Girls, as each member became personally inspired of the story behind the start of the foundation. Boot Girl member Ginger recently told the story about the inspirations each Boot Girl had of The Lone Survivor Foundation:
"After reading "Lone Survivor" by Marcus Luttrell, who was a Navy SEAL that survived a major attack on his team by the Taliban, his harrowing tale of survival really opened all our eyes to the sacrifices these men and women make VOLUNTARILY every day for our freedom. Marcus' motto of 'Never Quit' really has encouraged all the Boot Girls in our everyday lives."
The Boot Girls continue to raise awareness and funds for their promising and rewarding "Boot Campaign". Recently, the Boot Girls launched the Corporate Steel Toed Program (a line of Steel-Toed boots meant for employees to show their appreciation for the military) and the Li'l Boot line, a specialized combat boot to fit the size of younger children. "On our Facebook Fan Site, we ask our fans to submit images of them going about their daily lives, in combat boots as a show of support for our troops!" Boot Girl Mariae recently exclaimed, "Tons of parents started to submit images of their kiddos in boots, and some mentioned that when their Boot Campaign boots came in, their kids took it for themselves!!! Plus, the children of deployed soldiers love wearing them as a way to show how proud they are of their parents!"
In the coming months, The Boot Girls will be hard at work continuing to promote the "Boot Campaign" while marketing their specialized combat boots and raising awareness about the military. The Boot Girls will be making appearances at the Seattle Seahawks game on Sunday, November 7th , and on the television reality show of the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader's: Making The Team on December 10th.
