The Break-Up Letter

Tasha M. Johnson
To Whom It May Concern:

I've been giving this relationship a lot of thought and came to realize that you're not the person that I met or fell in love with. You've become a hideous monster that I don't know or recognize anymore. I can no longer put up with your unkind words, your lewd jokes, your insensitivity, your temper or your rigidness. Nor can I put up with your drinking. So, I am leaving you for good. I wish that it didn't have to be this way, but I'm sick and tired of getting hurt. Basically, it's over. Goodbye.
