Hover above my mind,
Oh Lord.
Still the churning waves
on the surface of my soul.
Oh Lord.
Still the churning waves
on the surface of my soul.
Speak,
and set your Spirit free
in me.
Still the churning waves
on the surface of my soul.
The sea reaches up
for the light that is in thee,
as billows of darkness peak.
Speak,
and still the churning waves
on the surface of my soul.

Post a CommentWonderfully inspiring, Shirley. Yea, even though the surface may be in turmoil, I pray that the peace that passes all understanding always abide within. Yet better still it is if the that which is portrayed to the world also reflech such a calming reassurance. You are a gifted writer, used of the Lord, and efficient in His purposes.

Lovely poem.
