The angel opened the book to read the marked page and knew what was going to happen. The book slammed closed, and the angel flew quickly to God, who was already waiting. The angel then saw the shadow of Death and chaos in the sky, gray smoke choking heaven, and demons danced around the debris. The angel cried for the loss of life, the pain of tragedy, but God remained strong, loving even in the face of our darkest enemies. We would survive, and knowing this, the angel was able to take flight again.
