THE UNKNOWN!
Bailout, 700 billion dollars.
AND OUR NATION SCREAMS!
We are entering into a period of
GLOOM and DESPAIR!
Unemployment rises.
AND OUR NATION CRIES!
We are entering into a period of
THE HAVES and the HAVE NOTS!
Wealth distribution disintegrates.
AND OUR NATION SHOUTS ENOUGH!
We are entering into a period of
ECONOMIC WOES!
Inflation rises and our standard of living declines.
AND OUR NATION REBELS!
It's time to raise our voices.
Make them loud and very clear.
Let our elected leaders know
There is no reason for us to cheer.
Clean out your houses now.
Stop the special interests in their track.
It's time to care about the public
And bring our democracy back.

Post a CommentUnfortunately, this has been happening for quite sometime...as a soon-to-be unemployed person (again), I am scared shitless (excuse my language, but that is how I feel). I don't have a car, I don't have a home of my own, I just have a three-room apartment that I will no longer be able to live in beyond next January. Thank God that I saved the huge cardboard boxes that my computer was packed in...because after I sell everything, I am going to need those boxes to live in.
