I've told you people before that the two best craft breweries in the United States are in Michigan but I don't think that you quite understood me the first 12 times so I will reiterate that point: Dark Horse Brewing Co. which is featured here and Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales are the best breweries in Michigan and the US.

If you've never had DHBC's Tres Blueberry Stout or any of Jolly Pumpkin's standard fare then you are merely drinking beer. Whereas I think J.P. is the more refined of the two, Dark Horse is like the savage genius of the family who goes about in odd ways to create magnificent works of art. This Scotch Ale is a prime example.

Now, I've never tasted scotch and don't really know what the hell a Scotch Ale is but I've tasted my fair share of its kind. This one, like most Scotch Ale, has an elevated creme liquer feel to it with toasted caramel maltiness that comes across as a smooth and cold gravy that the silver swans of ambrosia should bathe in. Following that line of reasoning this is rain from Heaven my friends.
