The New Buffalo Wild Wings in Port Huron, MI

Buffalo Wild Wings in Port Huron, MI is a newly opened restaurant in the area. It opened June 7, 2009. It is located across from Birchwood Mall in the old Damon's Restaurant location. Don't be fooled though, it is completely renovated and redone inside.

Buffalo Wild Wings of Port Huron is part of a chain restaurant that was originally created in 1982 by two men in Kent, Ohio. There are now more than 500 Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants in 37 states. The restaurant specializes in chicken wings of course, along with a delicious menu of sandwiches, burgers, salads and appetizers. You have the option of regular wings or boneless wings. There are 14 sauce flavors to choose from to have your wings tossed in. They range from mild all the way to hot! The flavors available are Sweet BBQ, Teriyaki, Mild, Parmesan Garlic, Medium, Honey BBQ, Spicy Garlic, Asian King, Caribbean Jerk, Hot BBQ, Hot, Mango Habanero, Wild, and lastly, Blazin. Many of the chicken options on the menu besides wings give you the choice of getting the chicken with one of the above flavored sauces on it. There is also a wide variety of beers on tap and in the bottle, all served ice cold!

This Buffalo Wild Wings was constructed out of an existing past restaurant location of Damon's Restaurant. It has been totally renovated now and unrecognizable as the old set up of Damon's restaurant is gone. Out with the old and in with the new. It is opened up inside with no barrier walls dividing the sections anymore. There are 8 big screen TV's and 34 LCD and plasma TV's. On each TV is a sports related show or a quiz game called NTN that you can play with a controller at your table. Buffalo Wild Wings plays sports of all genres on their TV's. Everything from golf and soccer to baseball and NASCAR racing is shown on the screens. It is a fun atmosphere to be in when your favorite team is playing. There's even outdoor seating available for you to enjoy the great summer weather while enjoying a cold drink and yummy food.

Along with great food and a fun atmosphere, the wait staff was great as well. We had a hostess seat us, a waitress take out order and bring us our drinks, a runner bring out our food and even a manager checked up on us and brought us refills. It was an excellent group effort by everyone involved. Everyone working there was friendly and clean in their appearance. Overall, I would say I really liked the restaurant location and the food. I will definitely be a returning patron. I think that opening a new sports bar in the Port Huron area is a great idea. It gives everyone more choices on where to eat and watch a game. It helps with the local economy and is in the center of the city's shopping district. I hope the restaurant continues to be a permanent fixture in the Port Huron area.
