The Cadette and Senior Girl Scouts Can Earn Their Pink Patch at a Pink Party in the Greater Kansas City Area

The Blue Ridge and North Independence Branches of the Mid-Continent Public Library in the Greater Kansas City Metropolitan area still have two opportunities available for a patch to be earned if you are a Cadette or Senior Girl Scout.

By assisting at these remaining branches at a Pink Party, they can earn required points for their Pink Patch. Simply register online at the location that you and/or your troop wish to help out at. You can call for details at that particular library and ask for the Pink Party Coordinator.

The Blue Ridge Branch is located at 9253 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO. Their phone number is 816-761-3382. The North Independence Branch is located at 317 W. US Hwy 24 in Independence, MO. Their phone number is 816-252-0950.

A Pink Party is an event in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The purpose of these parties is to act as a support of those affected by breast cancer as a survivor or in support of someone you know with it. You no longer have to feel alone.

At this party you will meet others and learn ways to help yourself and others with breast cancer. It is a time to relax, hear speakers, play games and indulge in chair massages. Participants are asked to dress in Pink.

This would be a great way for Cadettes and Senior Girl Scouts to earn points but also to show care and compassion at the same time. What a note-worthy cause this is.
