now there is nothing left but disgust and tears.
We used to live like there was no other till one day
you gave into your weakness and my biggest fear.
There were things that made us both happy that we thought
we couldn't live without. until they were gone and so were you.
I have driven myself crazy wondering why things are they way they are,
but I do see a calm within the storm.
He's little and innocent and has not a worry in the world,
he is my calm in the storm,
The one thing that reminds me of better days ahead
he takes away my heartache with just a simple smile.
As life goes by slowly but surely the storm that we are chasing will soon fade away,
we will let the rain subside, be grateful for what we had instead of dwelling on what we didnt
and be thankful for our calm in the storm.
