The Cameron Diaz Look: The BCBG Max Azria White Silk Crochet Lace Appliqué ¾'' Sleeve Dress

This is a very girlie girl design that will have you matching the look of Cameron Diaz! I love this dress because it is so feminine and it is just perfect for the summertime. I could see my self taking a stroll along the beach at sunset and having this dress blowing in the wind. I know I really have an active imagination! This dress also makes a great Sunday church dress!

This dress only comes in white and to be honest with you it really does not need to come in another color. When studying the Cameron Diaz summer I found that she often wears a lot of white dresses. I really don't think any other color would truly do this dress justice. The sizes are small, medium and large.

This dress kind of reminds me of something our mothers would have worn back in the sixties when they were young! The materiel is silk and on top of the silk you will find vintage appliqués that really give this dress the whole girlie girl appeal. The lace appliqués are light, but they do demand your attention.

Cameron Diaz style may not be all around vintage, but a few of her white summer time dresses have a hint of the vintage feel.

There is a two button closures in the back. I really like the neckline because it's not too high up and it's not to low either its perfect! The neckline is squared off and has a lovely crocheted appliqué.

Another feature of this dress that gives it a vintage girlie girl look is the pin tucks on the bust of the dress! There are also crocheted insets and pleating right near the pin tucks! These are some very creative yet subtle techniques they are using here!

They really love to use lace on this dress because on the front and the back on each side of the body there is lacing that starts from the top of the dress and goes down to the bottom of the dress. It might sound like BCBG has gone wild with all the lace appliqués, but truly they have not I think their use of lace is very tasteful on this dress. I think that it is very tasteful because the whole dress is what; if there had been any contrasting colors at all I think the whole lace appliqué thing would be a bad idea.

The dress is retails for $168.00. To look like Cameron Diaz I think this is a reasonable price for such a beautiful dress made from 100% silk. Of course when you get this dress you want to only dry clean it, I would not even try to hand wash it. If you are looking for girlie kind of design then go for this dress!
