1. Captain Jeff Weeks - The Billiken - he knew that he wanted to be a fisherman since he was a small child. For me, his most memorable moment was when he went out on deck barefoot. I mean, they were in the Bering Sea, for pity sakes!
2. Captain Phil Harris - Cornelia Marie - even though he has been at sea for 30 years, he has been with the Cornelia Marie for 16 years. He has an easy going nature, and loves to pull pranks.
3. Captain Rick Fehst - Early Dawn - He has been fishing the Bering Sea for 25 years, and only missed one season due to injury.
4. Captain Greg Moncrief - Farwest Leader - he is called 'the Natural' by fellow fishermen, because he is naturally gifted at finding crab. His wife joins the crew as a cook and deckhand.
5. Captain Tony LaRussa - Fierce Allegiance - he is a tough captain, but his crew trusts him, and his decisions.
6. Captain Peter Liske - Lady Alaska - is known to overprepare in order to have a good harvest.
7. Captain Vince Shavender - Lucky Lady - one of the smallest boats in the fleet, and can only hold 30 crab pots at any given time. Since he only has a three man crew, it requires a lot of skill to handle things properly.
8. Captain Rick Quashnick - Maverick - one of the smallest boats in the fleet, but it can catch as much as the big ones. Rick is very devoted to his crew. The Maverick assisted in the search when the Big Valley went down. Rick is the owner, as well as the captain of the Maverick.
9. Captain Blake Painter - Maverick - will take over the helm from Rick in season three.
10. Captain Sig Hansen - Northwestern - he is very competitive, though safety is his main concern. He is also very superstitious.
11. Captain Jim Stone - Retriever - he catches the big pots of crabs at the end of the season.
12 Captain Eric Nyhammer - Rollo - he has two young sons, and says he is participating in the show so that his sons can see him in his natural element.
13. Captain Roger Strong - Saga - is 37 years old, and has been a captain for 11 years.
14. Captain Larry Hendricks - Sea Star - he loves the sea, and believes that fishing is not only a job but a lifestyle as well. Some of his crew has been with him his entire career.
15. Captains Andy and John Hillstrand - Time Bandit - Andy is captain during the Opilio season, and John is captain during the King crab season.
We will hopefully be seeing these men again in another season of Deadliest Catch.
