The Casey Anthony Reality Show is in Session

Casey Anthony is now a celebrity. It's time for her to start acting like one and hire a team of spin doctors because the anger of millions of mothers worldwide could use a wholesome dose of watery feel good to cool the flames.

I write this in the year 2011 and at this point and time I do not need to explain who Casey Anthony is. However, if you are a person in the distant future finding this in an archive you may not know the Casey Anthony that we of 2011 THINK we know. Casey Anthony is a young woman from Florida who went on trial for the murder of her young daughter, Caylee Anthony, and to the shock of more than not was found: not guilty. Caylee Anthony disappeared for a time and Casey Anthony pleaded ignorance to her whereabouts while apparently going out and partying around town. When the remains of the child were found gears went into motion, charges filed, and the prosecution came at Casey Anthony with theories about her suffocating her child to death with duct tape and then trying to cover it up. The defense made the claim that Caylee Anthony's death was accidental drowning in the family swimming pool and Casey Anthony's father was there when it happened. In the end theories did not work in place of evidence and Casey Anthony was found not guilty in the event of Caylee Anthony's death and only found guilty of lying to law enforcement during the investigation.

America was drawn into the Casey Anthony trial by the media. It became a nightly soap opera that demanded the viewer invest emotion into the plot. When the verdict of not guilty came down: Twitter, Facebook, and everything in-between lit up with outrage. This was not OJ Simpson hacking up some adults, this was a child that died, a little girl child, America and its values (which apparently involve making other people's business your own) demanded a head on a stake! Currently, Casey Anthony has everyone's attention, in a very bad way, but a way to be worked with.

The Casey Anthony reality show has already begun, she does not have a choice in that. My advice to her if she wishes to survive is to embrace this celebrity status. I do not mean in a spoiled, in your face, I am great and you wish you were me sort of way, but in a positive way. Casey Anthony needs to humanize herself in front of the public. The mainstream cannot identify with someone accused of murder and accused of reacting to death and child disappearances in the way that Casey Anthony did. She is an insane witch with blood on her hands in the eyes of many who do not realize they know absolutely nothing about the girl. Nothing! Most are passing judgment from their recliner. Do I think Casey Anthony's actions involving the case were bizarre? Not at all. People do bad stuff or accidentally do bad stuff, they almost always go into cover up mode before anything else. It's how Casey Anthony recovers from her actions that is going to shape the future for her and all of those who were sucked into the dark madness.

Casey Anthony should expose herself even more, interviews, tears, anger, and the truth. Unless of course the truth is she really killed the kid, probably better keep that one to herself. Get the cameras into her home, take us to the parties she attends, show us how she copes with the death threats, show her sitting on the toilet pooping just like the rest of us, because this is what we want to see. We, and I don't mean me, have invited ourselves into her life and feel it is our, and I don't mean mine, right to be there. Not guilty: the drama is not over and we do not want it to be over until the new bleeding lead takes the stage. What ever happened to caring about JonBenet Ramsey?

Well, the cameras in the home and exposing herself even more thing is probably not in Casey Anthony's best interest, that would just be satiating the beast that already is eating our souls. Sure, it might add more free security to her against death threats, but then it might inspire a nutjob to want to attack her to get an television. Murderer or not, she is an attractive girl with youth on her side and the attention of the world tuned in. Casey Anthony has a chance to carve some new territory in what we perceive to be reality and I'm not putting forward solid answers of action to take, but just saying, something positive could come out of it all. Get people to reflect on their own lives and their own actions as they judge strangers in the news. We are a society of "pretenders." Right and wrong are so clear when it comes to the perversion that is political correctness; behind the scenes we are all breaking the rules and pretending we know how we would react in situations of horror and crime. We would act differently than all of those other people who either got caught or were judged guilty by the media, right? All those brutally real people. The ball is in your court Casey Anthony, prove the world wrong about you, it could use it.
