The Casino Economy

Capitalism has history. History establishes legal precedent. Teddy used this to bust trusts. Barry should use this to break up the casino atmosphere. There are many good examples of how banks and markets should operate. Regulation should not be a negotiation with the perpetrators. If the dangerous wealth encouraged and allowed by policy would be directed to infrasructure, employment and payment on the debt we would be O.K. Government should wave the invisible hand of Adam Smith and cure the economy. The twentieth centurty was difficult but it was not bought and paid for by robber barons. Thanks Teddy, you slowed down the train. No idiot in Washington is prepared to step in front of the corporate juggernaut and so we stupidly, wildly careen toward our next and maybe final collapse.
