Joining Cbus Pacers is free. To join, all you need to do is visit their social online site called The Hub and create a profile. There are currently 635 members. From The Hub, you can connect with other Columbus area runners in a social media format. You can share pictures, ask questions in the forum area, check out upcoming events, and more.
Coaches are also available for members at a charge of $75 or $65 for alumni. With a coach, you are given a day-to-day program based on your goals, ability, and personal schedule. Once you sign up, a coach is assigned to you that who is available for support and questions. You are also given a free training jersey when you sign up for a coach.
Weekend runs are another benefit of Cbus Pacers that are lead by pace group leaders. Runs are located in various parts of town and are at various times. To get a schedule, you can visit the Cbus Pacers website. When you participate in these runs, you have the opportunity to run for whatever race goals you personally have.
Joining Cbus Pacers is a great way to get to know other Columbus area runners. It is also a great opportunity to take advantage of weekly runs with experienced pacers and a resource to learn more about running. It doesn't matter if you are new to running or a veteran runner. Anyone who joins Cbus Pacers will certainly have the resources to help them in reaching their running goals.
