The Celebrity Apprentice Review of March 28, 2010 Episode

The Celebrity apprentice is definitely going downhill. When the Celebrity Apprentice aired its first season we all watched in anticipation as to which Celebrity would come out on top. Now we watch to see which celebrity can make a bigger fool of themselves. Last week Darryl Strawberry pretty much gave up and was fired and left the show leaving his charity with nothing. The network should have stepped in after the boardroom antics were aired and indicated that they would donate to the charity regardless of what happened. A nominal amount of 10,000.00 would have been the right thing to do in this type of situation.

The celebrity apprentice is based on contestants playing to make money for their charities and this is a noble thing. Unfortunately with this last episode the Celebrity Apprentice proves to be a show about egos and not so idyllic beings trying to support the good of man. The original apprentice without the celebrities was brilliant in concept, this spin off however is just a sad attempt at making money for the wrong organizations. This past week's episode is definitely proof that the Celebrity Apprentice is not in it for the charities.

The celebrities do it for exposure, Donald does it because he is making millions, and the network runs it because they are making millions. So really who is really coming out on top here the charity absolutely not, 25000.00 is probably less than one percent of the money being made on this show. What the networks and Donald should do is match dollar for dollar each week's episode in charity contributions.

The celebrity apprentice needs to turn the negative exposure of last weeks episode around and do something honorable like stepping up to the plate when the player steps off the field. They need to contribute a little more if they want to keep this show alive.
