The hotel also does not have a parking lot, there is street parking only. It may take a few minutes to find a parking space, but it will be well worth the effort.

The Chalfonte Hotel is often referred to as the 'Grand Dame by the Sea' and it covers an entire block of prime real estate in Cape May . With the close proximity to the ocean two blocks away, guest room doors are louvered to allow the soft ocean breezes to sweep through.
