Mitch (Ryan Reynolds) and Dave (Jason Bateman) grew up together, they were best friends. Over the years, the two slowly drifted apart. Dave became a big-time lawyer with a beautiful wife and family, while Mitch made nothing of himself. Mitch was a loser who smoked pot everyday and never finished anything he started. He was going nowhere fast.

Dave has a beautiful wife Jamie (Leslie Mann), Kids who love him and a high-paying job at a huge law firm. To Dave, Mitch's stress-free life seems like a dream come true. Mitch steps back into Dave's life and the two old friends go out and get drunk together. As they are peeing in a fountain, each of them wishes for the other's life. Mitch and Dave's worlds are turned upside down when they wake up in each other's bodies and lives. A drunken night on the town turns into a Change Up both of them believed would be a dream come true.

Dave gets the freedom he desired and Mitch gets the dream family and life he always hoped for. The problem is the Change Up was not what either man really desired. Dave misses his job and his beautiful family, while Mitch realizes he has been wasting his life away. How are they going to change again and turn everything back to normal.

The Change Up may be the funniest movie of the year. Ryan Reynolds is hilarious and Jason Bateman takes us on a delightful ride, the kind of ride you don't want to stop. The Change up is rated R because it is full of raunchy humor aimed at adults. The movie has plenty of nudity and adult content which will sway you from taking you're your children anywhere near it.

Give The Change Up a chance and you won't be sorry. You will spend ninety-minutes of your life laughing your keester off. Written by (John Lucas and Scott Moore) the same writer's as The Hangover, The Change Up serves its purpose nicely. It makes you laugh so hard, you find yourself crying.
