The Chaos and Downfalls of the Spears Girls

Many people have talked about Britney Spears since she has been in the media for the majority of the last year. There have been incidents with the kids, divorce, custody, driving, partying, flashes of intimate parts and her faltering performance at the MTV Awards. She seemed to be the screw up of the family and some people even wanted to blame it on her mom. So questioned, why Britney was the way she is and if it was her mother's fault or could it just be from the fame, money, and the slew of problems that celebrity brings. One thing we do know is that she is not the good little innocent country girl that was on Disney's Mickey Mouse Club or that she portrayed to be in her first video and album. She definitely has gone through up and downs and it seems as if the down are now being passed on to little sister Jamie.

It has been reported lately, that Jamie Lynn Spears in now pregnant. She is at the ripe old age of 16. Now I'm not condemning her (because I'm a single mom), but she is a little young to be popping out a baby. She may be living the life of a grown up since she has a little fame of her own from her Nickelodeon show and has shared the fame with her big sister Britney, but, a baby is not something that can be returned when you're tired of it or get another one when something happens to it. I guess the whole ordeal with big sister Britney losing custody or her kids had no affect on little Jamie. Britney is much older and lost her children to ex-husband Kevin Federline, so what can we expect or Jamie Lynn.

Not only is it a teen pregnancy but rumors have been spreading that the father may be a Nickelodeon executive that worked on Jamie's kid show. Now, if that isn't depraved and reeks of celebrity drama, then I don't know what does. So, there may even be some statutory rape charges involved if the father of her child really is a man of legal age. Surely, her Nickelodeon show won't be playing in the homes of little children if she is indeed pregnant. So, it seems that Jamie Lynn's career may be off before it even really started. At least Britney had millions of loyal fans and a ton of money before she decided to go off of the edge.

As a side note what is it with those two and committed/married men or possibly married men? Britney Spears was linked to Columbus Short (of Stomp the Yard and This Christmas) who was her choreographer on the In The Zone tour while he was married and his wife pregnant at the time. They're divorced now and he does not deny that Britney and he had something going on, but, Britney and her mom adamantly denied it. Although some pictures on the internet with the two close together could say otherwise. Kevin Federline was in a relationship with Shar Jackson (of Moesha) who had one child by him already and was pregnant at the time Britney popped into the picture. I'm not sure if this older guy that Jamie may have conceived with was married or committed to someone, but it wouldn't surprise me if she's following in big sister Britney's steps.
