The Cheesecake Factory is a Must Visit in the Caesars Palace - Las Vegas Strip

The Cheesecake Factory is a rare find for those of us who live in Michigan. With no locations in our own state, we always look for it while on vacation. Located in the Forum Shops at the Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, The Cheesecake Factory was the one restaurant we made sure not to miss.

Getting There
Like all restaurants in Vegas, getting there is a bit of a walk. The restaurant is located pretty much at the very end of the Forum Shops, so you'll end up walking through the Casino and you'll pass a lot of shops before you see it. It's located right by the big fish tank and the Atlantis exhibit so you can watch the fish if there is a wait.

Seating
There was no wait on a Friday in November when we arrived for dinner. We got sent up to the second floor where we were seated right away. The second floor is actually quite small because it has tables situated around the big opening in the ceiling. From here we could see down into the main floor of the restaurant where there was a lot of space for groups and families. There are even more table right outside the restaurant so it looked like they can fit a lot of customers.

Decor
The Cheesecake Factory in Chicago is the only one I've been to that had the whole cheesy decor everywhere. In Chicago, it's like the ceiling is melting cheese! Even though the Las Vegas Cheesecake Factory didn't have that, it was still very nicely decorated and seemed to be a nice fit with the Caesar's Palace.

Service
Our waiter was friendly, fast, and we never felt like we had to wait. What more could you ask for?

Food
The reason I love The Cheesecake Factory so much isn't really because of the cheescake! The Cheesecake Factory offers a huge variety of items for anyone! I don't eat meat but still can find plenty of things on the menu ranging from pasta, to salad, to fish! The menu offers such variety that I could easily eat there daily and find something different every day. I've ordered many different items on my various visits and every time I loved my food. The Four Cheese Pasta is an item I've ordered often and always loved. On my last visit, I got the Tostada Salad (minus the chicken) and it was so good I could hardly stop eating it even after I was stuffed. Meals are always huge there as well so you won't go away hungry. Instead, you'll probably go home with a doggie bag.

Don't forget the Cheesecake!
If you go to The Cheesecake Factory, you cannot leave there without a slice of cheesecake! There are so many options to choose from to please anyone. Even if you think you don't care for cheesecake, you should still give it a try because some of the flavors don't even taste anything like cheesecake. On this visit, we choose the Dutch Apple Cheesecake which had some apple, caramel and nuts. It was delicious, as we expected. Since you are likely to be overstuffed after eating your dinner, you can always get your cheesecake to go. They will give it to you in a nice little container with whipped cream and plasticware so you can eat it on the go. One slice of cheesecake is plenty for 2-3 adults so don't go crazy. If you have a fridge in your hotel, go ahead and get 2 slices because you can save one for another day.

Overall
If you are visiting Vegas, you have to make an effort to get to the Cheesecake Factory where you can get great food, and great cheesecake and really get your money out of it. Enjoy!
