The Child's Prayer
God, help me to obey my dad and my mom
since they know what's best for me.
Help me to understand and have patience
when dad and mom says no to me.
Calm me down and give me peace
when I get angry and don't get my way.
Please tell me when I get out of line
and help me back on the right track.
Please give me the courage to say no
to drugs and to alcohol.
Help me to be a role model to the other kids.
Thanks, God, for listening to me !
