The Christmas Factory in Marshall's Creek, PA knows how to bring the customers in. Residents and visitors alike flock to the store year round for everything Christmas, as well as many other delights. What many people that have never visited the store might not realize is that they have many other non Christmas related products as well.

Owner, Kurt Clausen knows what sells. His store has been going strong at its current location for 16 years now. The store itself has been in business for about 20 years. Clausen said "We started out selling souvenirs due to the tourism boom. We eventually realized that there was a real need to provide specialty Christmas products in this area, and changed the focus to that direction. We continue to work year-round on finding the most unique and exciting products at exceptional prices with an emphasis on utility. Rather than just a typical knick-knack, we provide items that are useful in some way. For example, a condiment spreader set disguised as a black bear on a tree. Each branch pulls out to become an individual spreader. Christmas is an exciting time, and it is great to be able to re-create the feeling of warmth and nostalgia all year long."

Manager, Jennifer O'Hay has worked at the store since it opened its doors 16 years ago. She has been the store manager for about seven years. "Ornaments are our biggest seller. We have over 60 decorated theme trees and a wall of ornaments that can be personalized" O'Hay said. The themed Christmas trees are on display all year round. When entering the store, the festive Christmas feel is apparent. The smell of Christmas is certainly in the air. O'Hay credits the store's success because of the residents. "The residents are the reason we are open." O'Hay continues.

Christmas stuff may be their biggest seller and most advertised products but there is plenty of other fabulous merchandise to purchase as well. The store has customers year round, regardless of the season. Right now, the store is gearing up for Halloween with a great Halloween display with lots of cool decorations that really make you get into the spirit of the holiday. They do sell other holiday items as well during each holiday season.

There are many other non holiday related items to choose from as well. Garden décor, different types of candles, porcelain dolls, kitchen ware, home décor, wall pictures and art and other unique gifts are just a few of the many items you can purchase at the store. Finding a gift for that special someone in your life is not a hard task here. With many aisles of great, unique gifts, you are sure to find that one of a kind type of gift at a reasonable price. Need ideas? Ask the friendly staff, they are willing to help.

They sell many name brand items that specifically bring people into the store. Annalee, Bean pod soy candles, Pennsylvania Dutch Candies, San Francisco Music Box, Snow Babies, and Yankee Candle are a few of the most popular brands. Some of these brands are hard to find in our area, but not at The Christmas Factory. There are also a few kid favorites such as the wildly popular Webkinz and Shining Stars. Ask any child what a Webkinz is and you will get the answer for sure. They are plush pets that come with a special code that is needed to care for your virtual pet online. There are even Webkinz related games to occupy your child as well. Shining Stars are also similar and very popular among the younger generations.

Great gift ideas and awesome Christmas things are inside the walls of The Christmas Factory on Rt. 209. Personalized ornaments are a big seller as well as anything Christmas. With affordable prices, extra friendly staff and a huge assortment to chose from, you can't go wrong. Any Christmas lover needs to check the store out. You won't be sorry you did.
