The tree is full and so are we
Of spirit born of Christmas glee
The lights are lit to signify
Our thankfulness for faith's blind eye
For faith sees not what hands can feel
Yet knows inside its truth is real
This time of year so hallowed
as the driven snow adrift
The birth of Christ our savior;
his death our Christmas gift.
