The Storyline of The Christmas List
James Kier is a wealthy real estate developer with no regard for people or their feelings. Over the years, he has built a kingdom for himself by exploiting others and taking advantage of their weaknesses. When another James Kier is reported as being killed in a car crash, his family and friends assume it was him.
Messages fly through cyberspace and James is shocked to see what those closest to him, have to say. After a couple of days of thought and deliberation, he comes up with a plan and convinces his secretary, Linda Nash to help him. The bulk of the story is devoted to James tracking down people he used and abused in the past and facing what long-lasting consequences his actions have triggered in their lives.

This story is uplifting and inspirational and written with the usual skill that Richard Paul Evans employs. His words penetrate people's hearts and cause them to stop and think about their own lives and situations.
