The Chuck Wagon Grille is open on weekends from 7am to 4 pm. The Chuck Wagon Grille serves a variety of foods such as burgers, fries, soup beans and pizza. You can also purchase fattening soft serve pretzels at We're Rolling Pretzel Company in the location with the Chuck Wagon Grille. The prices are considered to be high for the poor quality of food and service you will receive.
The Chuck Wagon Grille offers a nice sit down enclosed patio area for your dining experience. This is by far the highlight of the business. Previously this location was home to the Market Grill, and the food and service was wonderful when it was the Market Grille. Things certainly changed when the Chuck Wagon Grille came to town. The employees are somewhat rude, and they are always sweating, as it is so hot in the kitchen. That is a sanitation concern of mine. Frequently you will see the employees smoking outside of the entrance. This is a walk up window restaurant. You order your food and have a seat. The dining patio could be kept a little cleaner, but this is a busy place.
When visiting the Hocking Hills Farmers Market, or the flea market, as it is locally known, you have other dining options. The Route 33 Diner is nice, and offers great food. I personally love Great Expectations. This is a cafe, bookstore and more. You can enjoy specialty coffees, wraps and Panini sandwiches at Great Expectations for a great price. At either of these restaurants you will have a more enjoyable dining experience and rumor has it your food will be healthier. Over ten people have claimed to have food poisoning from the Chuck Wagon Grille this year so far.
The Hocking Hills Farmers Flea Market is open seasonally on weekends. Business hours are 8 am to 5 pm.
