The Cleveland Cavaliers Will Win the 2007 NBA Finals

The Cleveland Cavaliers have most certainly been the hottest team in the NBA at the moment. The Cavaliers have gone through the Washington Wizards, New Jersey Nets, and a very surprising victory 4-2 over the Detroit Pistons! Many people say that the Cavaliers are the luckiest team in the NBA, but I personally think they have outplayed all of their opponents. Now the Cavs are faced with their biggest obstacle yet; The San Antonio Spurs.

The Spurs have been the sleeper all year long in the Western Conference on the NBA. Teams like the Phoenix Suns were taking the entire spotlight. When the NBA Playoffs came the Spurs were the quiet stars. Going strait through the Denver Nuggets 4-1, defeating the Phoenix Suns in a very debatable series 4-2, and then finishing off the Utah Jazz 4-1. Many people thought the Spurs didn't have it in them this year, but they are a prime example that experience plays a big role when you are trying to be a winning team. Some say, "They are a dirty team", some say, "they are just that good." No matter which one of those statements you agree with, you have got to respect what they have done this season. They have been on of the most consistent teams in the whole NBA. This all sets us up the stage for the biggest event in the NBA, which is, the NBA Finals.

The NBA Finals, the event that that lets us see the two best teams in the NBA compete. At one side you have the Cleveland Cavaliers and on the other side you have the San Antonio Spurs. The Spurs are familiar with this stage. Two years ago the Spurs won the NBA Finals 4-3 over the Detroit Pistons. NBA stars like Tony Parker and Tim Duncan were among the players that played in those finals games. Quite a few people say experience is the key to being one of the greats, but I think otherwise. I think the Cavaliers are going to win this series. Not because I'm on the Cavalier's bandwagon, it's because they have really stepped up their game in the playoffs. Who's this Daniel Gibson kid?

He has came out of no where to become a big factor for the Cavs. With Larry Hughes not playing at one hundred percent because of his foot injury, someone needed to step up! Well the Cavs have found that person which is Daniel Gibson. This guy has the potential to be one of the great scoring point guards in the NBA. At first it looked to me that this rookie was only a three point shooter, but I was very wrong. He has quick hands and great driving ability, which is what a point guard needs. I definitely can't forget about the king, LeBron James. He had a remarkable game three with forty eight points in double overtime. If he can continue to get his players involved especially Drew Gooden and Zydrunas Ilgauskas the Cavs will definitely win this series in six games at the most.
