Perhaps the icing on the cake of coincidences is what is referred to as The Kennedy assassination dollar bill. Since Dallas is the location of the eleventh of the twelve Federal Reserve Bank districts, the bill bears the letter K, the eleventh letter of the alphabet. The number 11 appears in each corner. The serial number begins with a K and ends with an A, standing for Kennedy assassination. Eleven also stands for November, the eleventh month of the year; two elevens equal twenty two, the date of the tragedy. And the series number?1963, the year the assassination occurred!
As the hilt of irony, it is interesting to note a letter to the Cincinnati Gazette dated November 6, 1858. This was the first public proposal that Abraham Lincoln be the republican candidate for the presidency. The letter also endorsed former secretary of the Navy John Kennedy for vice president!
