The Comfort Inn hotel is pretty and well kept on the outside, with pine trees and large rocks making up the landscaping. It fits in well with the look and feel of Flagstaff. The Comfort Inn has an outside pool that sits almost directly in front of the entrance area of the hotel.
The check in staff was very friendly on both of my stays there, and the room rate for a king size bed was reasonable. They normally charge $109 a night but I received a government discount rate and was charged $89 a night. If you are a government employee, an AARP or AAA member you can get a discounted rate.
The interior of the Comfort Inn at Flagstaff is clean and has a lodge feel to it. They have a large lounge area with a huge fireplace and a nice view of the pine trees outside. The lounge is used in the morning for the free breakfast the Comfort Inn provides each guest. The breakfast includes a waffle bar, fresh fruit and pastries, eggs, sausage, apple and orange juice and the best coffee I had in any hotel.
The Comfort Inn at Flagstaff has an adequate fitness center and a small business center with lap top computers for guests use. They also provide high speed internet in the rooms. My room was large, clean and had a small refrigerator, a microwave and a coffee maker as well as a flat screen TV. The bathroom was not large but it was clean. The bed was comfortable, with a mattress that was not too hard.
The Comfort Inn is pet friendly, though there is an additional $10 charge for each pet. They have 85 rooms, a check out time of 11 am and a very friendly staff. There are restaurants and stores within walking distance. If you are looking for a nice but affordable hotel for your stay in Flagstaff, I would recommend the Comfort Inn at Flagstaff. I give it 3 of 4 stars. You can call for a reservation at (928)-774-2225 or click on their website here.

Nice review!
$ 20.00 is a good discount!
Sounds better than our stay. When we were in Flagstaff, some guests decided to knock on everyone's door at 3 a.m. Fortunately the front desk staff was sympathetic and gave us our money back because we called several times to complain.
