Known locally as the 'Wall of Peace', this memorial is a tribute to all members of the United States Armed Services who have served the country, in all conflicts.
The Connecticut Veterans Memorial - West Hartford was dedicated in May 2006. The memorial is circular in design, with large blocks of polished black granite broken into sections that designate different armed conflicts. Engraved into each section of the Wall of Peace are the names of veterans from West Hartford, Connecticut who lost their lives during armed conflicts.
