The Continual Prayer

Brett Davison
At this moment, a child is kneeling in bed. At this moment, an Iranian is risking his life as he utters a prayer. At this moment, a believer is rejoicing in the love of God. At this moment, a Christian is weeping in the presence of the Almighty. All over the world, countless belevers are speaking to the Lord of all Creation. Some are praying because it is their daily routine to come before the Lord. Some are praying because they are in need. Some are praying because they are guilty or sad. Some are praying out of joy. Their shouts, whispers, and thoughts rise like a song up to Heaven. It is a song of faith and completion. Even at our lowest, this song can raise us up to the presence of the Father, the Lover, and the Comforter.

It is a song that Satan hates. It is a song that has been mocked and ignored. It is a song that has been misrepresented, insulted, and spat upon.

In countless different forms and voices, this song is raised up to Heaven. The prayers and acts of worship of people from all over the world mesh together into a single message of faith.

PRAISE BE TO THE LORD ALMIGHTY! PRAISE BE TO THE GREATEST LOVER! PRAISE BE TO THE FIRST FATHER! PRAISE BE TO THE ULTIMATE COMFORTER! COME INTO OUR HEARTS! BRING US LIFE! WE NEED YOU!
