Their words and actions should be law
They can't understand how those around them
Do not view them with a sense of reverence and awe
Yes, the control freaks live among us
Thinking they are right in every detail
They bark out orders; they are always in charge
Without their presence; the world would certainly fail
If they only took a little bit of time
To look around at how they are viewed
Not seen as heroes - more often as bullies
Their personalities are berating, condescending and rude
When we know how to give up control
When we try to compromise or at least understand
Solutions come even in the most difficult situations
Life is easier when we let others share command
