The Cordoba House: Mosque or Trojan Horse?

I'm a retired elementary school teacher, who typically cares little about politics. However, I am very practiced at the grade-school skill of connecting dots to see the real picture. When I connect the following dots, I see that our ignorance of history, our belief in freedom, and our respect for all peoples are being exploited to threaten our country, our culture, and our way of life. What do you see?

Fact #1: It was Muslim jihadists who took down the Twin Towers.

Fact #2: Not all Muslim people are jihadists. Jihadists are Muslims who take the Quran (English/German spelling: Koran) seriously when it tells ALL Muslims to declare a holy war to terrorize and murder the infidels--i.e. the Christians and Jews defined as pigs and monkeys. There are 109 verses in the Quran that call for the death of infidels (non-believers)

Fact #3: To celebrate Muslim victories, Muslims set up mosques, therefore, a Ground Zero Mosques symbolizes (to Muslims) a "triumph over America".

Fact #4: "Cordoba" is historically a term of insult. It's been used ever since Muslim conquerors proclaimed their victory--not by a flag (to represent a country) but by establishing a mosque (to represent their religion)--when they defeated the Christian Spaniards in Cordoba, Spain.

Fact #5: The Ground Zero Mosque is being called the "Cordoba House"--a meaning not lost on the radical Muslim world, but seems so innocent to ill-informed Americans who don't know the history of the word "Cordoba". It's quite an interesting name choice for "moderates", who are fully aware of the connotations so encouraging and comforting to the radicals. By the way, treason is defined as giving aid and comfort to our enemies (Article III Section 3 of the Constitution)

Fact #6: Shariah Law calls for killing the apostates (anyone who doesn't share their faith), stoning women to death, and declaring wars to spread their religion. Radical Islam and Freedom cannot co-exist. Islam as stated in the Quran is a dangerous ideology that is a counterfeit religion. (Don't twist this--it is recognized that not all Muslims are radical. Radicals are those who strictly believe the Quran's teaching to annihilate those who refuse to convert.)

Fact #7: There are zero churches or synagogues allowed in all of Saudi Arabia and no Christians or Jews can even enter Mecca.

As far as them being "religiously tolerant" they rate a "0".

Fact #8: Polls show 70% of Americans want to know who is funding the mosque. Note that Saudi Arabia sends jihadist educational materials to each mosque in the US calling on devout Muslims to shed the blood of infidels, both Jew and Christian. Yet, the United States spends 6 million dollars a year to rennovate mosques around the world--a practice that has continued after 9/11.

Fact #9: Nancy Pelosi wants to know who is funding those Americans against the mosques. She is suspicious of Americans who might be bigots while she ignores the stated goal of the Muslim Brotherhood to "exterminate and destroy Western Civilization". We can't be too surprised that the same group who doesn't understand the word "illegal" cannot grasp the words "exterminate and destroy". Those behind the Cordoba House should at least be asked the following questions--but, doubtful, the main stream media or government officials will ask them. (These were origionally listed on the Rightly Concerned website in a posting by Bryan Fischer):

  1. Do you renounce the 109 verses in the Quran (Koran) in which Allah calls for the death of infidels?
  2. Do you renounce the teachings in the Quran (Koran) that compel Christians and Jews to convert, submit, or die?
  3. Do you believe that Muslims should be able freely to convert to Christianity anywhere in the world without penalty?
  4. You want to build your mosque here in our city. (i.e. for "mutual understanding") Do you believe that Saudi Arabia should allow the building of churches in Mecca?
  5. Do you renounce Hamas, which our government recognizes as a terrorist organization? And do you renounce Hezbollah and its attacks against civilians in Israel?
  6. Do you believe that Israel has a right to exist? I'd like to add this question...
  7. Do you, or do you not want Sharia Law in this country?

Ironic isn't it: The Ten Commandments can be banished from courthouse squares across America, but a 13 story Mega-Mosque can sit on the hallowed ground of innocent victims killed by a declaration of war--not by a country but by the ideology the Cordoba House Mosque encourages. It's actually surprising that 9/11 was not enough for everyone to get it. And it's surprising that there is no investigation as to treasonous activity concerning the Mosque that sends encouragement to radical terrorists around the world.

Perhaps, it's just that the President's Muslim roots are showing when he promotes the mosque and the contribution of the Muslims to our history. (You can read his speech on the President's website.) Oh, really now, Mr. President. Muslim ideology is missing from every positive phase of our nation-building, but it showed up very clearly on 9/11. But spinners of spin have crafted an American-pleasing sound of "interfaith cooperation," "religious tolerance", and "mutual respect" that makes it all go down more easily despite the history of yesterday, the realities of today (research the Islamization of Europe and see how it's working out for them), and the problems we're creating for tomorrow.

Let me be clear, I welcome all Muslims who come to America to assimilate into the culture, but I am very concerned about the Muslims who want to bring their hidden messages of conquest (that encourage and support the radicals) while bringing their Shariah lifestyle into our culture--because Sharia Law is the end of freedom.

As an elementary school teacher, I am tempted to relate to you the story of a "A Bug's Dilemma". There's a moral in the story for adults: Those in charge have a fundamental responsibility to check out those influences that have been historically dangerous to their charges. In the story, the little bug just couldn't understand why his Mother was cautious and suspicious of Spider's invitation to "get together". Afer all, he spoke so "sincerely". She had an obligation, however, to consider Spider's history with little bugs. Congress is too busy being politically correct to consider the lessons of history--which they see as disrespecting their new "enlightened mentality." How vulnerable they make us! O.K. "A Bug's Dilemma" is written for kids, so let's consider a more historical and even more metaphorically appropriate lesson: The Trojan Horse.

Wonderful article. Keep spreading the truth. It may not seem so, but there are many of us who believe as you do. And we do listen to words of wisdom.
