The Corrupt Child Psychiatric Drugging Business
Why Have Children Become Psychiatry's Leading Drug Market?
Many people are obviously upset that over 8 million US schoolchildren are being drugged daily with dangerous, mind-destroying psychiatric amphetamines, antidepressants and tranquilizers. Hopefully, this column will give you more information about what's driving this corrupt business that uses children as a commodity so that you can do something about this abuse.
Any investigator knows that you follow the money with an investigation and the major money in the multi-billion dollar per year child psychiatric drugging industry goes to drug companies and the psychiatrists.
It all starts with fraudulent psychiatric labels which have no scientific basis. The American Psychiatric Association's diagnostic manual has nearly 400 mental disorders listed so that you and all the other reader's of this column could be labeled as mentally ill. While real medicine uses lab tests, blood work, X-rays, etc. to diagnose real disease, psychiatrists merely look at one's behavior, and based on the APA's diagnostic manual, decide whether a person is mentally ill - for life. If the psychiatrist decides, yes, you or a child are mentally ill, he can now start drugging you to fill his pockets. To illustrate how unscientific these disorders are, they are voted into existence every year at APA meetings and some "diseases," like homosexuality, are voted out of existence when it's not politically correct. Would doctors ever vote cancer or diabetes out as diseases?
Once psychiatry makes up a phony mental illness, this opens the door for pharmaceutical companies to create and market drugs to cure this disease that doesn't factually exist. The drug marketing is done directly to parents and through many other sources such as legislators (to make laws to help push more child drugging), schools, medical doctors, colleges, social services agencies and front groups that promote themselves as concerned parents.
Psychiatrists working for universities, including most of the uppity Ivy League schools, bring in grant money from drug companies to do "studies" to convince the Food and Drug Administration that their drugs should be on the market. Drug companies obviously tend to fund psychiatrists and schools that give their drugs a good report as bad reports could cost them billions of dollars in sales. These same psychiatrists and their colleges also take money from drug companies to promote the need to drug people.
"Parents" groups that actually get funded by pharmaceutical companies and the mental health industry include Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Disorder (CHADD) and the National Alliance of the Mentally Ill (NAMI). These groups promote in the media and lobby legislators to give psychiatry more money and power over parents who don't want to drug their children. This has been a key in psychiatry getting more insurance money, stronger involuntary commitment laws, laws to let social services take your children for "medical neglect" if you refuse to drug them and crazy checks for parents who will drug their kids. That's right, if you refuse to drug your child in Massachusetts, the schools may threaten that your child be removed by social services if you refuse to drug him/her ... and social services may just follow through.
Unfortunately, this lobbying has led the US government to give bad parents up to $600 per child monthly if they allow psychiatrists to drug their children. A family of four children and a single-parent mother, all on psychiatric drugs, could net the mother nearly $3,000 in crazy checks per month to go on top of her welfare checks and free medical insurance.
You may notice that a lot of schools and pediatricians also push psychiatric drugs and mental illness labels and this occurs for two reasons. Both get continuing education programs that are often paid for by pharmaceutical companies. This "education" often includes leading psychiatrists teaching them how to look for behaviors to diagnose their phony diseases while strongly recommending the drug of the month as the only solution. The second reason is money. Schools get extra federal funding when they have drugged kids and bad doctors make good money when drugging children as opposed to acting like real doctors and finding the underlying medical reasons that may cause a child to have bad behavior. Of course, some doctors are just lazy and some teachers would just prefer quiet kids.
Psychiatry's infiltration into schools is the chief way they get their hooks into children. They have created laws to get psychologists into the schools and to get all teachers trained in psychology so they can target kids for these made-up mental disorders. Psychologists and psychiatrists have also been behind ruining our once very strong educational system that focused on phonics and grammar and would encourage children to use dictionaries to understand the words they read on a page. Psychological-based learning programs like "whole language" expect children to figure out the meaning of words in context and tend not to have children drill phonics and other basics needed for children to learn. The result is illiteracy. Other negative results of not being able to read properly include not being able to pay attention (Attention Deficit Disorder), being nervous about study (anxiety), being angry or sad about being illiterate (Oppositional Defiance Disorder and Depression) and this is how many normal children are turned into permanent mental patients to feed the coffers of psychiatrists and pharmaceutical companies.
Real education, real medicine, healthy diets and good parenting are the cure for most behavioral problems. 85% of the psychiatric drugging of children in the world is done in the United States. Psychiatry's influence has lowered our children's literacy levels while increasing delinquency rates. Their drugs are known to cause suicide, acts of violence, psychosis and many physical problems like heart attacks, death, greatly stunted growth, and much more. Massachusetts is now sixth per capita in the US psychiatric drugging of children with methylphenidate which includes ritalin, concerta and generic brands. This drug is basically cocaine which is why many children crush and snort it on the streets. Massachusetts is likely a national leader in the psychiatric drugging of children because it has so many psychiatrists. They push the disorders and the drugging.
To help children, please get this message out to your legislators and schools and demand that they fight against the corrupt child psychiatric drugging industry. For more information you may click onto www.cchreus.org.
