The Cosmo Brushed Steel Tree Lamp From Bed Bath and Beyond Adds a Variety of Lights to Your Room

If You're Looking for a Floor Lamp This is a Great Choice

Suzanne Rose
When moving into my new house, I realized there was only one light in the living room and it was over the front door. The trouble was that if you ever sat on the other side of the room there was no light to read by. Besides reading, there are various other reasons why I wanted more light in the living room such as just being able to see better in general or for working on projects in the living room.

The Cosmo Brushed Steel Tree Lamp let's you have a variety of light in your room. With three bulbs, and a separate switch for each bulb, you can have either just a little extra light or a lot of extra light. You could even use 3 different wattage bulbs to give you even more variety. On most occassions I find I only need to turn on one bulb, but if I'm really working on a project I can turn them all on and aim them in different directions for maximum lighting.

The Bulbs can be rotated in a variety of directions. Point one right at your book, or point one towards the ceiling! They rotate almost all the way around as well as point in various directions. I can always get the light to point just where I need it. The only warning is that the steel cases do get hot, so you will want to rotate them before turning them on.

The round base keeps it stable and the skinny pole lets it fit in a variety of locations. The base at the bottom is about 1 foot around and slips underneath my couch easily. This large round base keeps it stable so I don't have to worry about it falling down. Because the pole itself is so skinny, I can easily squeeze this behind my couch so the light is in the perfect place for reading on the couch. I would not keep this in a place where kids could easily get to it as it is very lightweight and easy to knock over if a kid was playing with it.

The Steel color is attractive and matches my colors perfectly. My room happens to have some gray/silver in it, which makes this steel item a perfect fit. However, the steel color is generic enough that it could fit in with almost any decor. It's a modern look but could just as easily fit in an old style living room as well.

For $40 you can't go wrong with the Cosmo Brushed Steel Tree Lamp. We still have not had to replace the bulbs since we put them in the first time. Since I only need one at a time usually, I try to use a different one each time so that one doesn't blow out too soon before the others. This was a great investment for my house and really adds the perfect amount of light to my room. Check it out at Bed Bath and Beyond today, and don't forget to bring your 20% off coupon. Enjoy!!
