May styles come and go, but a crisp white shirt on a woman is a classic. A white shirt goes with everything. Sure, you could go to Saks, Polo or Brooks Brothers and find lovely examples but for the less than the amount you'd pay for one shirt at any of those stores, you could just as easily find five or six of them at a local thrift store and have them altered to fit you!

If you browse the men's section of a thrift store, you can often find tuxedo style or men's dress shirts for just a few dollars. Take them to a seamstress and have her fit them to you for a flattering one-of-a-kind look. All totaled, you'll get a fabulous dress shirt (or more) for far less than you'd pay retail and you'll always great in it!
