The Croc Prima is This Spring's Shoe Champion

Danielle
In case you were wondering how to juggle this spring's gorgeous shoe options with function and comfort, look no further than the Croc Prima shoe for women. The Prima is a ballet flat that will go with any outfit, and while it offers all the great perks that regular Croc shoes have, it bears little resemblance to its swiss-cheese, plastic predecessors.

I could never bring myself to buy a regular pair of Croc shoes because of the shoe's clunky, somewhat ugly appearance. To me, they were nothing more than a beach or outdoor shoe. And according to the company Web site, Crocs were originally intended for outdoor purposes, until they became accepted as an all-purpose shoe. I still couldn't accept them as an all-purpose shoe. Despite the rave reviews people gave of their comfort and breathe-ability, they just weren't appealing to me.

But then I got a look at the new Croc Prima. The cute ballet flat fits right into any spring repertoire, as it comes in numerous colors, including black, green, light pink, bright pink, yellow, purple, blue and silver. My favorite color is black, as it goes with just about everything -- again, so versatile - but I encourage anyone interested to pick up as many pairs of Primas in as many fun colors as they desire. (At about $24.99 each, it pays to coordinate them with bright spring outfits).

The Prima's give support and foot comfort similar to the original Crocs, so if you spend a lot of time on your feet or walk to work (like me), you won't have to put up with sore feet. Another bonus: Ballet flats look great without socks, but your feet and shoes might develop odor because of it. With the Primas, which are odor resistant, you won't have to worry about smelly shoes or feet, and you can go sockless all spring. They're waterproof, as well, which makes them perfect for variable spring weather and rainy days. The Primas also are slip resistant, so you won't risk sliding into an embarrassing predicament on one of those rainy days.

The only problem with the Primas is sizing. I recommend that you find a store where you can try them on before buying online because the sizes run differently. If you must purchase the Prima online, ward off blisters by trying a size or half a size smaller than what you normally wear, as they do seem bigger. My normal size eight was better at a seven and a half with the Prima.
