Video games sometimes gets a bad wrap for being too violent and geared towards adolescent males. While this is definitely an important part of the video game audience, games these days have a much wider appeal than what they get credit for. Kirby

The hero of Dreamland is as cute as they come. Not only is Kirby a lovely pink, but his extremely upbeat nature makes it impossible not to like him. Kirby has always pulled on the heartstrings of gamers everywhere, but in the latest Kirby game 'Kirby's epic Yarn' he brings cuteness to a whole new level. When the evil Yin Yarn turns Kirby into an embroidered character the cuteness goes off the scale.

Toad

Princess Peach's trusty helper. Fittingly clad in a mushroom hat, Toad has nothing in common with his namesake. This super cute mushroom-man is always the bearer of good news. Whenever you run into toad in any 'Mario' game you know he has something good in store for you. Toad is so cute that he is the only male character who can successfully pull of wearing an open vest with no undershirt.

Sackboy

The playable character in 'Little Big Planet' is the ultimate in cute. Sackboy is a small, knitted doll that players control around the game world. Sackboy is adorable out of the box, but the heavy customization that is possible in the game can lead to some truly spectacular sackpeople. Sackboy can dress up in animal costumes, or as a zombie, a blushing bride or anything the player decides to create basically.

Dewy

How cute can a drop of water be? As cute as dewy, that's how. Dewy is the main character for 'Dewy's Adventure'. He is a drop of water with cute round feet and a long antenna to complement his drop apparence. He is as cute as a button unless he turns into steam when he just looks angry and puffy.

Clank

The tiny robot XJ-0461 was supposed to be a huge terrifying sentry robot, instead he is a tiny cute sentient robot-friend. He is much better know by his nickname 'Clank' which he got from the sound he makes when he hits the side of a spaceship. Clank has an impressive arsenal of cool gadget to help out his best friend 'Ratchet', but the best feature of Clank is his clueless and awkward personality. Clank is somewhat similar to C-3PO, only cute and likable.

Aiai

Aiai is the main character of 'Super Monkey Ball'. Aiai spends way too much time inside a plastic ball and not enough time just sitting around being cute. In fact, Aiai is so cute that you feel like a criminal every time you mess up and make him fall of the game world and to a crushing death in the abyss.

Tails

Tails is the cute sidekick of 'Sonic the Hedgehog'. Tails, or Miles Prower as he is really called gets his nickname for his two tails. Tails can use his two tails as a helicopter rotor and actually fly, a skill he refuses to use as long as he is controlled by a player. Tails is a very cute and humble fox, who used to get picked on for his unusual amount of tails. His incredible cuteness is his saving grace as playing as Tails is a nightmare and his sub-par abilities drives anyone who plays as him insane.

Pikachu

The most fabled of all of the 'Pokemon', Pikachu is extremely cute. In the anime series, Pikachu is the first Pokemon introduced to Ketchum, and he has since gone on to be the most recognized symbol of the Pokemon franchise. Pikachu looks like a yellow and brown mouse with red cheeks. This doesn't sound overly cute, but his happy demeanor and cute stubbly little arms and feet makes Pikachu irresistible. He is incredibly hugable which can be a problem as squeezing a Pikachu often leads to them discharging bolts of electricity.
