The CW Presents 90210

Do you remember the old show from the 90's that ran close to a decade Beverly Hills 90210? Well it's spin off is back 90210 West Beverly Hills High. The show looks at life through the eyes of Annie Wilson ( Shenae Grimes) who you may formerly know from the show Degrassi and her brother Dixon (Tristan Wilds) who you may recognize from the hit show The Wire. They recieve a major culture shock when they arrive to school their first day at West Beverly Hills High and realize they are no longer living in Kansas. The Wilson which also consists of Harry Wilson (Rob Estes) friom the hit 90's show Melrose Place and Debbie Wilson(Lori Loughlin) the former cast member or Summerland, they move out to the area to watch over Debbie's mom Tabitha(Jessica Walter, "Arrested Development".)

Now back to the two prime stars of the show Annie and Dixon. It's already weird enough for them to be the new kids at school but what makes it worse is that their dad is the new principal of the school. At their new school they meet Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord, "Nip/Tuck), Ethan(Dustin Milligan, "Runaway) Silver (Jessica Stroup, "Prom Night"). Along with some hip and sophisticated staff members such as the cool teacher Ryan Matthews (Ryan Eggold, "Dirt") , the beautiful counselor Kelly Taylor (Jennie Garth, the original "Beverly Hills, 90210"). Along with the owner of the owner of the local clothing boutique Donna (Tori Spelling, the original "Beverly Hills, 90210) and several guest appearances by cast members from the former 90210.

90210" is produced by CBS Paramount Network Television with executive producers Gabe Sachs & Jeff Judah ("Freaks & Geeks"). Mark Piznarski ("Gossip Girl") is the director and executive producer of the pilot.

The good news for all you fans is that the show has been picked up for the whole entire season by the network. According to the network when the show first had it's two hour premiere, it was watched by close to 4.9 million viewers making it the highest-rated scripted series premiere in the history of the network. Although the show is doing great a very serious matter has been brought to attention. Shenae Grimes and Jessica Stroup are way to skinny. They were skinny when the show first aired but now have lost even more weight to the point of where it is just plain unhealthy. Jessica Stroup who is only 21 stands at 5 foot 8 and only weighs between 100 to105 pounds as for Shenae Grimes who stands at 5 foot 3 is only a mere 90 pounds. Now on a show geared towards young girls this doesn't look good especially the message it is sending so of course the producers of the show are poised to take action.
