The semi-finalists have been named. Now the celebrities and their pro dancing partners/teachers are working hard to win a spot in the finals. This week they will have a battle to win one of those three spots. Each contestant will have to dance two individual dances and compete in a cha-cha relay. Plus, two contestants are competing with injuries.

Hope Solo is suffering from shoulder injuries. These are injuries that she has suffered in the past. Will these affect the lifts that she will have to partake in during the Argentine Tango?

J.R. Martinez took a nasty fall during practice this week. As he began to fall, he twisted his ankle. This ankle was twisted again during his first dance of the competition. Yet, he refuses to give up and says he will power on through the remaining performances. How will he do?

He is a brief summary how everyone did:

Dance 1:

Hope Solo and Maksim Chmerkovskiy: They performed a Paso Doblo: Judge Bruno stated, "It was unchained and untrained." He went on to say it lacked artistry. Judge Carrie Ann stated "She nailed the character of the dance." She added that the hold was out of sync and that she admired her for coming this far. They scored a score of 21.

J.R. Martinez and Karina Smirnoff: They performed a Paso Doblo: Judge Bruno stated, "He could really feel that thrill and excitement of the chase." However, he went on to say that the posture wasn't there all the way through. Judge Len stated, "It is what it is. This dance didn't suit you." They scored a score of 23.

Rob Karashian and Cheryl Burke: They performed a Samba. Judge Carrie Anne stated, "It was amazing. It was fluid. It was fantastic." Judge Len stated that "Once you got floor, I said yes, oh, yes." They scored a score of 28.

Ricki Lake and Derek Hough: They performed a Samba. Judge Len simply said: "Fablous, fabulous. You just took a giant step into the finals." Judge Bruno stated: "I am dazzled." They scored a perfect score of 30.

Dance number 2: The Argentine Tango:

Hope Solo and Maksim Chmerkovskiy: Judge Len said that the lifts were clean and that it was well done. Judge Bruno said that it was much better. He also stated that it was sexy and more controlled. They scored a 24, which gave them a combined score of 45.

J.R. Martinez and Karina Smirnoff: Judge Len stated well done. (missed the rest due to weather issues in Ohio, tornado warnings cut into programming). They scored a 27, which gave them a combined score of 50.

Rob Karashain and Cheryl Burke: Judge Carrie Ann stated that it was good strong dancing. Judge Len stated that you're finishing strong. They scored a 25, which gave them a combined score of 55.

Ricki Lake and Derek Hough: Judge Len said that it had lovely contrast of movement. Judge Carrie Ann stated that she always had the passion and now she has the pop. They scored a 29, which gave them a combined score of 59.

The Cha-Cha Relay

Each couple dances a portion of a song. Then they get bonus points for how well they do.

How did they perform and how many bonus points did each couple get?

Rick Lake and Derek Hough: Scored an extra 8 points for a total score of 67 for the night.

Hope Solo and Maksim Chmerkovskiy: Scored an extra 4 points for a total score of 49 for the night.

J.R. Martinez and Karina Smirnoff: Scored an extra 6 points for a total score of 56 for the night.

Rob Karashian and Cheryl Burke: Scored an extra 10 points for a total score of 65 for the night.

Now the total judge's scores have been tallied and it is up to the home viewers. Who will make it to finals? Who do you think?
