The New Day

JL
Everyday it is the same thing. I wake up and try to make myself get out of that warm and comfortable bed. Once out of bed the ritual begins. Bathroom first, then make the coffee. While the coffee is on, take a shower and brush my teeth. Get dressed and feed the cat. So, finally time for coffee. Sugar and milk, of course.

So the new day has begun once again. Today I want to make things better, I want to improve my life. I want to learn new things, practice my guitar, paint more paintings, clean up the house, get grocery's, sing, relax, work on-line, join new programs, learn to speak better German, make something to eat. Try to find time for sports or Yoga.

While thinking of what I can do the whole day, I realize it has gotten late once again. Yesterday the same thing happened and the day before too.

What have I managed to do? Oh well, forget it, I'll try it again tomorrow.

Now it is time for the evening movie and then back to my comfortable warm bed.

Tomorrow is the beginning of my new life.

Wow, I feel just like that. I feel like I do a lot each day but, at bedtime, I think, "where did the day go? oh well, I'll get to it tomorrow." Of course, I never get to it all.

This sounds like me. I have so many things I want to and can't seem to find time to do them all. You're right, tomorrow's another day. :-)
