The Daytona Beach Flea Market is located in the heart of Daytona Beach at 2987 Bellevue Ave at the junction of I-95 and US Highway 92. The market is open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 5pm Rain or Shine. There is never an admission and your can feel free to browse and enjoy the day free of charge. The market is a famous and a widely talked about spot in the Daytona Beach area. With over twenty-six years of business its no wonder they do so well, conveniently located to the International Speedway provides many speed enthusiast and their spouses a great place to shop. You will find everything and anything that your heart may desire, from fruits and veggies, to tools and hardware, to yard sale type stands. If you want to grab a seat and chat with friends there are great carnival style booths to get food from hot dogs, to nachos, to ice cream and even beer. There are a few shops that are my favorite but each trip always provides a new and exciting experience to find a new treasure.

One of my favorite shops is The Kountry Klutter Candles, located on row D2 booth 43. This booth offers all natural, handcrafted, hand-poured soy candles and tarts. The owner is the nicest person you will meet and she hand makes all her candles from soy. The candles come in beautiful glass jars and are made to burn and smell a long time. If you would like to try something else, you might take a look at the soy candle tarts. Tarts are small rounds made into a cupcake paper, sold in various scents and colors. You purchase a burner, the top is where you place the tart and the bottom you put a tea light candle. The soy melts and lets off the best smells that really last and travel thought the house. A few of my favorite scents are Carmel machino, blueberry muffin and vanilla smoothie. If you get a chance do stop by tarts are 6 for 5.00 you cannot beat that bargain.

Another must stop is Pells Citrus & Nursery Located on row P2 booths 50 through 60. Pells offers fresh Florida Oranges and Grapefruit, Tropical Marmalade and Jellies and many others in season fruits. If you're visiting the area be sure to pick up a bag or two of your favorite oranges and grapefruits to take home. They always have plenty of samples so you may taste the different variety of oranges. I would recommend the blood oranges if they are in season. There bright red and the most delicious orange you will ever taste. Pells is family owned and operated since 1925 and is a licenses fruit dealer who offers shipping of citrus throughout the US November through June.

If you get hungry make sure to take a break and visit one of the many eateries conveniently located at the center of each isle. Some offer the traditional foods such as hot dogs, funnel cakes and ice cream. While others offer sausages, pizza and nachos, they also serve beer and soda for the thirsty ones in your life. What ever you decide to do, just plan to spend an hour or two poking around and visiting Daytona's Famous Flea and Farmers Market, it's a sign of history at its finest.

Try the little tea booth called CREATE TEA on Row A-SOUTH, I think its Booth 14 or 15 in the middle of the aisle. They HAVE THE BEST ALL NATURAL HOMEADE TEAS EVER!
