The Deal Breaker in Diet Pill Shopping: The Unbiased Reviews

James O'Brien, MD
So you've heard about diet pills, you know they work, and now you need to know what to look for in finding the best one for you. Of course, you've already talked to your doctor and he's approved your use of a weight loss supplement. Now it's time to decide on a brand to buy. Your doctor's given you a list of brands he recommends, and now you just need to make the decision.

Assuming that you've already found reliable information about the different types of diet pills available when you talked to your doctor, and you already know what factors differentiate one brand of diet pill from the next, then, in order to make your final purchasing decision, you'll need to know where to find unbiased reviews written by people similar to yourself who have used a particular brand.

The best way to ensure that you get the best pill that's right for you is to use the Internet as a resource for locating user-written reviews of the different brands of diet pill currently available.

(Note: First of all, I do not recommend using a brand of diet pill that is not FDA approved or is one that your doctor specifically has not recommended. Do not purchase any brand of diet pill online that you and your doctor have never heard of. Such pills are either dangerous, ineffective, and you can spot them easily because they are always over- or under-priced.)

With thousands of diet pill products on the market today, I'm happy to find that there are literally hundreds websites that provide the valuable information that will set you on the right track to making your decision. Be warned however that many of these websites are purely advertisements-in-disguise, and, in short, are not looking out for your best interests and will often skew the data in order to promote the product(s) they're getting paid to sell. Sadly, even if the website says "unbiased diet pill reviews" it is most likely leading up to some sort of attempt to sell something.

Where are the places you can find these unbiased reviews written by people similar to you? The best places to find unbiased reviews for diet pills are online forums or an online community of some sort. Be sure that there are many registered users and that the discussion is balanced in that there are both positive and negative reviews of each product.

One example of an online forum that I've found particularly useful that is dedicated to diet pills is www.weight-loss-forums.com.
