I once knew a love,
A love that was meant to be,
A special love between her and me,
In this kingdom by the sea.
A love that was meant to be,

Then I found,
That her despise,
Was to me,
In this kingdom by the sea.
My world came crashing down,
In pieces all around,
Shrapnel piercing my stone cold heart,
All because we had to part,
In this kingdom by the sea.
She left me for dead,
In my hospital bed,
crying out for her,
but no where to be found,
In this kingdom by the sea.
