The Dell Lightning Phone is Something to Be Excited About

Dell Lightning Phone Leak

The leaked Dell Lightning Phone is the biggest buzz when it comes to smartphones right now. This phone is going to be incredible. The Dell Lightning Phone has what is expected from every smartphone, but the real craze is what is has that others do not.

The Dell Lightning Phone is a portrait slider with a full QWERTY keyboard. It features Windows Phone 7 and Flash, two of the most impressive specifications. The screen is a WVGA 4.1 inch OLED and has a five megapixel auto-focus camera. The storage includes 1GB of flash and 512MB RAM plus 8GB of storage on a MicroDS card (this is most likely non-user-replaceable).

Although this phone has some very nice additions that many smartphones at the moment do not have, there are many specifications that the Dell Lightning phone has that are expected. The phone comes with GPS, accelerometer, compass, FM radio, and a few others.

The Dell Lightning Phone is going to be compared to the Apple iPhone. My personal opinion, the Lightning is going to give the Apple iPhone a run for their money. The only advantage that the Apple iPhone may have is their iTunes. But with the many applications available, a cool app can be found to do the same.

The phone is expected to be released in the fourth quarter (after October) of 2010. This is a smart move, being that everyone will be asking for one for Christmas. It is said that some of the capabilities may not be available immediately on the first version. Hopefully this will change because of all the hype.

Additional news, oh yes! In the fourth quarter of 2011, other slides in this deck are saying it will be upgraded to LTE. This is something to be excited about. Now, all we can do is wait.
